Candy Land Soundtrack

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

Novel # 2–Candy Land  is finished–or at least the first draft is complete!!! At approximately 63,000 words I’ve succeeded in meeting my writing goals–it’s dark, edgy and under 70,000 words. So for those of you who’ve had some pre-exposure I thought I’d throw up the Table of Contents and let you start sending soundtrack ideas my way.

Table of Contents

Lost
mine,
falling
into
words.

Me,
not
above
flirting,
breathe
our
fear.

Love
unrepentantly,
fuck
hoping
maybe.

Without
seeing,
two
strangers
joined,
loved,
alone.

My
desire,
born
from
nothing,
found
yours.

April Fools Day

Wow, I’ve really let this blog thing slide–just one post in Feb. & nothing at all for the month of March. I didn’t do too much March Rambling this year, it turned out to be an ok month for a change. I’ve been in Colorado hanging out with the CO3 since the 15th and time flies when you’re a houseguest.

In the meantime I’ve gotten another acceptance–this time in Salt River Review. If you’d like to take a look at a full journal filled with good literature here’s the link: www.poetserv.org

Also, Candy Land is near completion–at least of the first draft. With only 2-3 chapters to go I’m close to having 2 novels under my belt. This one went a whole lot faster than Stark Raving Mad, so maybe I’m getting better at this novel stuff.

Wishing all my 1 and a half readers the best.
