About Me

June 2009

At not quite forty, I still like to play–sometimes with my three boys, sometimes with my partner  the die-hard snowboarding yogi, sometimes with my funky friends and sometimes all on my own. And it’s a good thing, ’cause my life seems to draw adventure. I traded my comfy little tree-house in the mountains of central PA for a windswept barn in the Chiltern Hills of England. What comes next? I’ll let you know when we do.

Squeezed in around my various adventures I juggle shuttling kids here and there, cooking, doing endless loads of laundry, cleaning and grocery shopping. And in my spare moments I try for a bit of reading, writing and thinking.

In my two years of blogging I’ve tripled the number of blogs I author, published 13 short fiction and creative nonfiction pieces, completed my second novel and managed to get evicted from my house because my landlord hadn’t kept up with the bills. It’s anyone’s guess what the next year of blogging might hold.
